Starship Enterprises

Starship Enterprises was first founded in 3295 as a service to provide rare artefacts and goods of high value exclusively to the rich and famous across the colonized galaxy. 

 

 

Using the success of this venture as a launch pad, Starship Enterprises then branched out into various other sectors, including private security, exploration and mining. working alongside Blue Creative, SE firmly established itself as a powerhouse in 339 and in 3299 featured on the top 10 most influential corporations list.

 

Speculation across the system was that SE and Blue creative would merger to take on bigger and more established corporate entities (like the local powerhouse, Jet Dynamic) but in a shocking twist of events during one of the final meetings between the two companies, negotiations were broken off and soon after SE declared that it was no longer going to work with Blue Creative.

Starship Enterprises later took Whitson Orbital from the declining IVP faction to base their new head offices and it is here that the corporations headquarters can still be found today.

​

The success of the companies CEO, Dr. Lewis Chapman, led him to run in the local elections and after an extended campaign he won out to become the systems governor. SE took So-Yeon as their second base, favoring the green, agricultural economies and their adjacent Earth-like worlds.

​

SE then poured large resources into its science divisions, especially into bio-medical research and development. One venture that rose up was the 'Terran Research Project', a scheme to clone old Earth species of animals whose genetic data was stored on file, including many extinct species from Earths history. The project's aim was to release the clones onto newly terraformed planets to help grow their ecosystems. The animals DNA would be tailored to suit their new environments and specially selected to fit into the new biomes.

This venture was so successful that Dr. Chapman eventually commissioned the construction of a state of the art Wild-Life Park and Tourism center, based on planet 4A.

Its location was selected to help draw more commerce and visiting pilots into the outer system and help to stimulate its economic growth.

The galactic community stepped up in a big way and soon after the Earth's Inheritance Wild-Life Reserve was opened to the public.

SE later decided it was best to take the last of the central system stations and soon after a grand campaign commenced to wrest control of Gell-Mann Ring station. This campaign was documented in a series of youtube videos called 'Captains Logs' and you can check them out at your leisure. 

​

SE retains good ties with a number of local corporations, as well as having good relations with the Federation.   

​
