The SRV Race Club started life as a small gang of SE commanders mucking around at scott beacon in 339. They quickly noticed stretches of road around the base. 

It didn't take long to plan a rough track around the base using all the bits of road.

much fun was had by all.

 

SE Discovery were then tasked with finding more of these tracks. They turned up a few including one at Bonhoff keep in the Pontus system.

 

Not long after, Cremona point in the HR 8170 system was located. This track was not only situated on a 1.5 gravity world, but ALSO was owned by an Anarchy faction.

This allowed the racers to shoot at each other while racing, adding a valuable mechanic to the fun.

Cremona point became the new home of the SRV Race Club.

 

The Second official SRV Race Club was held at Cremona point. Several commanders participated and much fun was had by all.

 

Cremona point has now been taken over by a federation faction and is no longer lawless.

 

The SE Discovery team usually search out new locations for tracks a few days before the next race club and the information is displayed here.

Racers are to race Anticlockwise around the courses.

 

due to the new camera suite system we now have a 'Top Down' round, as well as some normal races and last-man-standing events.
