Starship Enterprises

each week the people at FD put on a couple of special kinds of quests called community goals. These quests are big projects that have to be completed by the whole community (PC, Mac and Xbox) together. They usually last for one week but sometimes can finish early or spill over into another week. They start on Thursday at around 3-4pm server time and end just before the new one starts. Commanders can participate in these events and can potentially earn lots of credits.. sometimes massive amounts of credits. other times, not so much. These projects usually have a global reward if they are completed in time. These golbal rewards can be all sorts of things: new stations, cheeper prices, better facilites, a new rare commodity, changes in economy and government. 

They usually attract alot of attention from the galactic community and are a good place to make new friends (or enemies).

SE likes to keep track of these CGs and usually will take part in them if they are good money spinners. we encourage all pilots (especially new ones) to check these out if they have not seen them before.

Commanders can find a special silver quest on their quest screens when in stations which will provide them with information to community goals.
