After the acquisition of Whitson Orbital, SE worked quickly to get its declining economy up and running again. new trade routes were found, and agreements drafted, and the commanders of Starship Enterprises got to work.

Such was the success of Whitson that it soon became the systems biggest producing station, taking over from Gell-Mann Ring. Agriculture became the primary economy over industrial, although SE were mainly bringing in various medical supplies to fuel their science and research sectors, especially into areas of bio-research and cloning.

​

It was clear that SE had become a powerhouse in 339 and their popularity was beginning to rival Blue Creatives. On the 20th of October 3302, Dr Lewis Chapman announced that he would be running in the up-coming local elections with the aim of becoming the next governor of 339.

Starship Enterprises enters a new financial boom state. Dr. Chapman launches the revamped Galaxy Tours company within the SE umbrella. hopefully this venture will bring much needed commerce into Whitson orbital.

Blue Creative take a dip in influence which SE happily gobble up, the gap closes to a little over 2 percent. preparations gear up for election campaigns between the systems two biggest corporations. Starship Enterprises finish work on another section of their wild-life park on Whitson Planet. They announce plans to build a new cloning facility in the outer system.

a little over 1 hundred days from the stunning split between Blue Creative and Starship Enterprises and Elections have finally begun to determine the controlling corporate entity within Lp 339-7. SE commanders are hitting all three of the core system's stations in an effort to generate those extra votes and with Dr. Chapman's corporation entering the elections with a two point lead, things are already looking good.

The elections enter a fourth day as the system mulls over which corporation is to take control. The Chapman campaign team spent the first three days in the core system convincing each of the three stations to cast their votes into the SE boxes.

During the fourth day the team moved to the outer system where they found it more difficult to persuade the locals. Blue Creative are beginning to pull back in the polls but SE are hoping that an unexpectedly large amount of support from the soldiers stationed at Thirsk Survey will help push them the last mile.

The elections finally end with a resounding SE victory. In a last minute deal between Dr. Chapman and the BC board of directors, it was decided that SE take So-Yeon rather than Gell-Mann ring.

 

Dr. Chapman hopes to increase trade in So-Yeon, making it the systems principal agricultural producer.

 

Gell-Mann was left as a peace offering to Blue Creative in an attempt to bridge the gap between the systems two main corporations. SE has now lifted it's trade embargo on Gell-Mann and SE Mining have once again began to bring precious metals back into the system.
