Starship Enterprises

In early 3303 Dr. Chapman announced his future plans for Starship Enterprises Corp. These plans included scaling up both SE Mining and Logistics departments, cutting back on the security budget, and focusing on pushing his corporation towards an eventual expansion.

These were grand plans for sure but Dr. Chapman has always been a man of bold aspirations, never shying away from a challenge. 

​

In late April 3303 The SE corporate strategists put together a comprehensive list of activities that would benefit SE towards this goal. The document also contained information regarding influence trends and managing them within 339.

​

It was soon discovered however that unknown forces sought to prevent SE from their expansion attempts. One of the rival factions was working out of Gell-Mann Ring station to undermine SE infrastructure. The exact identities of these industrial saboteurs remained a mystery but it was plain for all to see that their actions were working to great effect and eventually SE was forced to abandon their expansion plans.

 

To deal with this new problem, SE issued orders to take Gell-Mann Ring in a campaign with multiple phases.

The campaign took several weeks and saw two civil wars as Gell-Mann changed hands and then changed hands again, ending up under the ownership of SE. This cemented the corporations monopolization of the inner system, and ended further problems from the mysterious industrial saboteurs.
