There has been somewhat of a hiatus in SE Mining these past few weeks while the company has been rehauling itself from a local mining operation into a deep space one. Critics were aprehensive to whether this bold venture would pay off but not to be purturbed, the intrepid miners of SE mining set their nav computers to Orobu, a federation system out on the fringes of civilisation. Orobu was used a launching pad to begin to probe into the uninhabited systems on the borders of settled space in an attempt to locate Pristine Metallic ring systems orbiting jovians or other stellar bodies. The mission was an instant success as our exploritory miners located a wealth of deposits in a ring system orbiting a brown dwarf stellar body. As well as collecting a large amount of valuable data regarding deep-space mining techniques, our master miners managed to haul over 4 million credits of valuable metals to be used in industrial production back at Gell-Mann ring, including over one hundred tons of Painite. All in all a successful first run for the newly re hauled sector of SE.
