srv race club number 5

greetings commanders. It's time for another bout of craziness and shenanigans at the

SRV Race Club. The idea behind this event (and indeed SE Corp in general) is to try to get the Xbox community together a little bit more so if you want to come and let loose, have some fun, meet some new commanders, and hopefully make a few new contacts for wing missions.... then come on down this coming Tuesday to the SRV Race Club. The last 4 of these events have been somewhat smaller in scale, but we have found.. well, the more, the merrier. And so I would like to throw out the invitations to the community at large this time and see if we can get a nice bunch of racers together. the SRV Race Club is commonly held at CREMONA POINT in the HR 8170 system

Cremona is an anarchy station and so we can happily shoot at each other. This adds another interesting element to the races... we have combat, none combat, and last man standing races. do not shoot at the base defenses or skimmers as they will still shoot back. the next SRV Race Club will be on TUE the 6th of MARCH meet at 8:00 PM server time. we will observe a 30 min gathering time the first race will kick off at 8:30 sharp there will be a number of races.. I will farm some prizes (Painite, Meta Alloys, low temp diamonds etc) to be given out to the various winners. the event has no scheduled time limit but previous race clubs usually last 2-3 hours if you dock your ship upon arrival (if there is a free dock) and are destroyed in your SRV then you are simply sent back to your docked ship, a quick RELOAD and you can leave once again... basically infinite lives!
