guardian technology upgrades

The SE Corp has been taking an extended holiday after all the work done towards our (unfortunately) unsuccessful expansion attempt. The SE Discovery department choose to take this time visiting the now famous guardian sites and indulge in a little work on the side for engineer Ram Tah. A large amount of data was collected from the various ancient ruins, now confirmed to be the last vestiges of a once galaxy spanning information network. Many important facts regarding the guardian race were uncovered, all graciously accepted by Ram Tah. The SE Discovery department also visited the much more active guardian sites to collect materials needed to unlock the superior guardian technology.

The team returned with enough data and materials to unlock many of the new guardian modules and many of the ships across all SE departments are now being retrofitted with the advanced units.

The team reported some hostilities from the ancient guardian defenses, miraculously still active after all of this time, but otherwise a fun and profitable trip. CEO Lewis Chapman commended their dedication to the company, and admitted that although the guardian sites would not be his first choice of vacation destination, he was happy it was for the discovery department.
