Containing the plague in Nespeleve

After a recent event to rescue escape pods (one of which contained Dr. Ishmael Palin) a dangerous virus known as the Cerberus Plague began to spread from the Nespeleve system. This Plague wiped out millions of lives and crippled a number of systems economies last year as it spread through civilized space. The galactic community thought that the Cerberus plague was gone forever but this new strain showed all the hall marks of the original pathogen. The galactic community was fast to act, bringing Heike Tea (the only known cure) from the Heike system some 311 light years away.

SE was among the commanders contributing to this effort. Our pilots helped to load up a heavily defended corvette piloted by rear admiral Tybalt34, which then made the fifty jump haul to the relief effort in Nespeleve. Dr. Lewis Chapman was quoted saying that he hoped his corporations efforts would help to contain this most virile virus.
