339, THE place to be!

It cannot be denied that in recent times the system of LP 339-7 has been going from strength to strength and the Success of SE Corp's many ventures played no small part in this. Dr. Chapman and Blue Creative have formed a close working alliance and with talks concerning the merger of these two companies entering the final stages, the future for 339 looks bright. SE Mining has become a major asset to both Blue Creative and Starship Enterprises and many of the stations within 339 now rely heavily on the materials brought in by SE's Intrepid miners to sustain their economies. The SE Gunslinger department has been equally successful in containing many of the systems miscreants, allowing the trade companies of SE Corp to bring in goods free of hassle. With all the wealth and commerce now in 339's core system, it seems that LP 339-7 has become quite the place to be.

Partly because of this, two new factions have decided to attempt to move into LP 339-7.

The United Pontus League, a federation aligned faction, has made the move to 339 after a major loss of commerce in their own system. UPL hope to capitalize on the booming trade in 339 and reestablish their company in better surroundings. So far UPL have made no hostile moves towards any other factions and are content to settle in for now but both SE Corp and Blue Creative are keeping a close eye on these federal allies to gauge their next move.

SE Corp has been launching a number of corporate strikes on the Traditional Focus group in neighboring LTT 15985 with the aim of destabilizing this cruel dictatorship government. The attacks have been carefully timed to coincide with a massive drop in activity in 15985 and the Focus group have been struggling to keep their heads above water. In a last ditch attempt for retribution the Focus group have declared war on their aggressors. Unfortunately, the Focus group mistakenly believed that the attacks were originating from the Lazarev outpost instead of the secret military base located on Blue Planet. Lazarev is currently owned by the conglomeration Public Inc after they wrested control of it from the infamous Blue Clan pirates and it is this faction that the Focus group have declared war upon. SE Corp and Blue Creative are working alongside Public inc to rid the system of the Focus group once and for all.

All of these new comers in 339 means that Blue Creative has had to share their influence around a little more and it has taken a fairly big hit, dropping over 15% in a two week period. Dr. Lewis Chapman remains confident that his dedicated pilots will be able to make up for this loss in influence and asks them all to focus on strengthening Blue Creatives hold on the now bustling system of 339.
