A Vote for Chapman...

"A vote for Dr. Chapman is a vote for the future."
This is the offical catchphrase of the Starship Enterprises election campaign team. It is written on holograms, emblazoned across the teams requisitioned Berluga and on countless thousands of T-shirts worn by 339's citizens. And during the three major confrences held in each of the core stations, it is clear that Dr. Lewis Chapman really believes that this statement is the truth.
On the first day of the campaign the SE team held a rally in Whitson Orbital where Dr. Chapman talked about how important the station has been in his corporations journey. He talked about how, under the IVP rule, Whitson was a declining station. But SE turned that around once they took control. Chapman went on to say that the humanitarian aid project set up to supply famine stricken systems with much needed food, was integral in getting Whitson's infrastructure back up and running. Moving the terran wild-life project and Galaxy Tours over to Whitson has also produced major profits and Chapman promised the people of Whitson that these two projects will continue under SE juristiction.
On the second day, Chapman and his team visited Gell-Mann Ring and he was seen giving a rousing speech on the main concourse. In this speech Chapman highlighted the importance of propper policing within LP 339-7, vowing that under SE rule the system security force will be bolstered with members of the SE Gunslinger Department to help try to quell the criminal activities in the outer system. Chapman also promised the return of SE Mining to Gell-Mann ring, which was widely accepted as a great thing. When SE Mining boycotted Gell-Mann after the SE/BC split just over 100 days ago there was widespread chaos with many smaller companies going into liquidization. The people of Gell-Mann seemed happy to have this important mining operation back in business.
The third (and many say final) day of the elections saw the team visiting So Yeon. It was here that Dr. Chapman explained the full extent of his plan for Whitson Orbital and ultimately, So Yeon. Chapman plans to turn Whitson into a fully tourism based station, amalgamating Galaxy Tours and the terran wild-life project, Chapman hopes to open large wild-life parks on Whitson planet full of rare and extinct species from Earths history. This will leave So Yeon as the principal agricultural station in the system and as such, many large scale projects (like the humanitarian aid project) will be moved over to So Yeon. This in turn would generate much greater profits in what is currently a fairly underused station in 339. the people recieved this grand plan well and many seemed excited about LP 339-7's future.
