Great Work from the Galactic Community

After Starship Enterprises CEO, Dr. Lewis Chapman announced his plans to construct a new tourism base on planet 4A, a call went out to the galactic community to aid SE in this mamoth venture.

SE Corp had never attempted an active venture of this magnitude before and many sceptics were worried that there would be insufficient responce from the community. But the sceptics were wrong; their worries unfounded.

Starship Enterprises split their venture into two parts: the first to deliver the required materials to build the new base to SE HQ in Whitson Orbital. The second part of the venture involved increasing bounty hunting prices to encourage pilots to help defend the traders from the predicted increase in pirate activity the event would generate. Because of production and logistical costs, SE could only afford to run their event for a space of seven days and with such a tight deadline, once again, the sceptics got out their worry hats.

All hopes of the ventures success lay with the galactic communitys responce.

Starship Enterprises is happy to announce that the Galactic Community stepped up in a big way, Whitson Orbital was fuller than ever before, to such an extent that some pilots reporting docking issues due to all the pads been taken. Despite some attempts at UA bombing neighbouring high tech systems, the needed commodities flooded into LP 339-7 by the ship load to be unloaded in Whitson.

as predicted 339 suffered greatly from pirate pilots during this active venture. In many instances the attacking ships were reported to not even attempt to steal any goods from traders, simply opening fire in an attempt to blow them out of the sky. These actions baffled many experts in SES&I and studies have been launched into the phsycology of these miscreants.

Luckily many independent pilots came to 339 seeking big money from bounty hunting, and they were not disappointed. Reports of the extraction sites around planets 4 and 5 state a massive concentration of pilots plying their trade to such an extent that the local pirate gang (the Blue Clan) have been forced into a state of lockdown. SE Corp would like to extend a special thanks to the PBSF for helping police their event from disruptive commanders.

With the massive responce from the galactic community SE Corp finished their event ahead of time.

We would like to thank all participating commanders (good and bad) you all made the CG fun and full of adventure.

We hope you will visit in future to see our new wild-life parks on planet 4A and check out some of the new tourism beacons throughout our system, telling the story of our group.
