Cutting Edge Logistics

A team of our pilots have recently been working alongside contacts in the Empire to commission a new fleet of ships for the SE Logistic department. Our humanitarian department has been going from strength to strength and consequently we 'need to get a bigger boat' to meet current demands. The daddy of the trade ships just so happens to be the Imperial cutter.
Now I just want to say at this point, you are probably thinking: "wait a minute, Starship Enterprises is a FEDERATION company.. so why help the Empire??"
Well, you are right, we ARE a federation aligned corporate entity, but we are so because of our heritage not because of any political beliefs. SE Corp has always thought that the Federation and the Empire (and indeed, the alliance and other factions) can co-exist peacefully without all the bickering and sniping. With the rain cloud of advanced alien civilizations hanging over our heads, we may soon be FORCED to stand shoulder to shoulder as one species against a common enemy (but lets hope it doesn't come to that!). In the end we are Humans, evolved from tribal factions with brains hardwired to always segregate things into components. We like to make sides and we like to fight over them.
On that note, Enter war-torn Wu Guinagi, a small Empire system where local factions fight for supremacy in a succession of blistering skirmishes. Our team of pilots hauled ass down there to help the Empire attempt to bring some kind of stability to the region. Delivering valuable war-time information, scanning and surveying surface installations for signs of military infrastructure, and of course helping directly in the many conflict zones strewn across the system. Our reward for all the help we have provided, a contract for a fleet of Cutters to help our logistics department expand further.
We would like to thank our contacts in the Empire for their help with transport and information, and for the cutters that they have so graciously provided. We hope that in future, when our customers see a Federation company flying the majestic Imperial ships it will make them think twice about some of their political beliefs.
