After events in Gell-Mann Ring had reached breaking point, Dr. Chapman, CEO if SE Corp and governor or 339 vowed to put things to rights. His corporation mobilized in full force; thousands of security forces descending upon Gell-Mann Ring to help quell the chaos, while thousands more humanitarian aid workers followed in their stead to help relocate many of the indentured workers stuck at the station, and provide aid to citizens recovering from their months long parties. Many thousands of cups of tea have been drunk, uncountable hangover breakfasts have been consumed and things are starting to calm back down into the realms of normalcy. A new day dawns over Gell-Mann Ring station, now under the control of SE Corp.

Surprisingly, not long after the take over, Dr. Lewis Chapman made a formal statement, addressing the allegations made against him and his corporation. These allegations were made not long ago by a retired SE Corp pilot. The pilot claimed that Chapman had engineered the war between the IVP and blue creative a few months back, knowing full well that the IVP would not be able to hold it and his own corporation would eventually have to bail them out. Interestingly, events played out exactly as the pilot predicted.

In his statement, Dr. Chapman both confirmed and denied these claims, saying that various simulations played out on the SE supercomputers had indeed predicted that the IVP would eventually loose control of Gell-Mann,

"mostly due to their use of the black markets and the knock on effects of that on the population. This is why SE forces were effectively on standby, awaiting the time when they would be needed."

He went on to say that he had no part to play in the IVP/Blue creative war.

"There was a lot of division regarding the use of black markets back then. public opinion at Gell-mann was beginning to swing in favor of the IVP's more lax ethos. SE Corp issued no official orders to aid in this process, if my pilots were getting drunk and voicing their opinions in their own time then that is out of my control. I will say that a number of SE pilots have been reprimanded regarding their behavior, but their ethical and political views are their own. we do, after all, live in a democracy."

it is interesting to note that a number of tourism beacons were located, hidden away in a long term storage hanger in Gell-Mann. This discovery confirms that there were indeed forces working out of Gell-Mann and against SE Corp. Even though these forces remain illusive, their existence has now been widely established.
