An SRVRC Idea

It was during the 4th official SRV Race Club that a commander casually suggested that the Galactic Community chip together and create a bigger, better and more entertaining Race Course.

The SRV Race Club is a semi serious organisation that aims to let commanders blow off a little steam and let loose and have a bit of fun. It also aims to bring the Xbox community together a little more (as we can get spread pretty thin across the galaxy). The SRVRC is usually held at a surface station that has the required bits of 'road' to make a track out of, but the tracks can be very simplistic and participating commanders commonly cried out for a better track.

Dr. Lewis Chapman is considering plans by one commander to build a much larger race track around one of the surface bases in LP 339-7. Scott Beacon is the current suggestion as it is the original home of the SRVRC. Dr. Chapman admits that this idea is only in the early planning stages at the moment but to stay tuned. He commented on how important it is for his commanders to have some recreational time, and said this idea would provide exactly that while also stimulating greater levels of traffic into the system.
